WE4M216 Dryer Thermostat
Dryer thermostat WE4M216 is used on GE, Hotpoint some Frigidaire and other brand dryers.
How does a dryer thermostat work?
The center posts on this thermostat are connected to a tiny heater inside. When power is applied to the heater it heats up causing the thermostat to open the circuit to the heater early. This permits the dryer manufacturer to build the dryer with lower heat settings and with one control thermostat.
