Dryer Will Not Start

Assuming that your dryer electrical supply is not the problem there are several things that will prevent a dryer from starting.

Was your dryer taking a long time to dry clothes? If so you should first check your vent and suspect your dryer thermal cutoff.

Once you determine that the dryer electrical supply and safety thermostat is not the problem you should remove the dryer motor and inspect it for burned windings.
