4391996 Gas Dryer Ignitor

This flat igniter is used on Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, Amana, Speed Queen and Magic Chef natural and LP gas dryers. It is mounted to the burner assembly and operates on 115 volts. When power is applied to the igniter it starts to glow red hot. Heat from the ignitor heats the flame sensor until it flexes and closes a switch allowing gas to flow.
