3204267 Dryer High Limit Thermostat

Dryer high limit thermostat 3204267, is used on Kenmore, Frigidaire, Gibson, Kelvinator, Tappan, White Westinghouse, and some GE electric dryers and laundry centers.

This high limit thermostat is located above the heater mounted to the heater pan. If this thermostat is bad you should check for a shorted heater and or a vent restriction. The dryer high limit thermostat is sometimes called the safety thermostat because it will cycle on and off if there is a dryer vent restriction, if the heater is shorted to ground or if the control thermostat fails.
