How to install a dryer terminal block
The three wires included in the kit are there because your existing dryer harness connection and wire ends may be unusable. When you cut the existing wires pay close attention to their location on the terminal block. The red and black wires can be mounted on the left or right terminal post as they are interchangeable. The white wire from the dryer harness is connected to the center post.
1. Unplug the dryer from the electrical supply 2. Remove old terminal block and mounting bracket 3. Use the existing two mounting bracket screws to mount the new bracket 4. Use the two screws supplied in the kit to mount the terminal block per the above illustration 5. Use the terminal and wire assemblies and wire connectors supplied in the kit, wire in the original manner |
